Banjul OIC Summit: Great attendance at Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency exhibitions

Banjul – The thematic exhibitions, organized by the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Summit Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), whose work ended on Sunday in Banjul (Gambia), experienced a great response from the participating delegations.

Several foreign ministers who visited the Agency’s exhibitions, including the host country’s foreign minister, the director-general of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), as well as ambassadors and other dignitaries, expressed their admiration and appreciation for the major action taken by the committee. Al Quds, under the presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in the service of the Holy City and in support of the Palestinian cause.

Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency exhibitions included one dedicated to local products of Palestinian associations, funded by the Agency under the “Civilian Initiatives for Human Development in Al Quds” program, and another dedicated to olive wood products (wood, figurines, vegetable oils, cosmetics products, kohl, soap, etc.)

The agency devoted another exhibition to pictures and archival photos from meetings of the Al Quds Committee and various social assistance programs, as well as to the presentation of books and other publications.

On this occasion, the Agency distributed the work report for the year 2023, the report on the assessment of the silver jubilee celebration of the Agency under the high patronage of His Highness. V. King Mohammed VI, as well as an evaluation report on the major humanitarian operation ordered by His Majesty the King for the benefit of the Palestinians in Al Quds and Gaza during the month of Ramadan.

Bayt Mal Al Quds Acharif Agency participated in the 15th session of the OIC Summit with a delegation led by the director in charge of managing the Agency Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui.
