Banjul – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit conference, held in Banjul, emphasized the complete rejection of all separatist plans aimed at harming and undermining the sovereignty of member countries of the Organization and the security and integrity of their territories. .

OIC member countries are invited to adopt a comprehensive and integrated approach to strengthen efforts to combat factors that encourage the spread of extremism, terrorism and separatism, the document points out.

The OIC summit also expressed support for the security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries of the Sahel and the Lake Chad Basin, as well as opposition to any external interference in these countries.
