F1. World Drivers’ Championship after the Miami Grand Prix

Lando Norris (McLaren) took the first victory of his career by winning the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday 5 May. The Briton was perfectly able to take advantage of an intervention from the safety car after a collision between Logan Sargeant (Williams) and Kevin Magnussen (Haas) to take control of the race and keep Max Verstappen at a respectable distance.

The gap between the two men even widened during the innings. Deprived of a fifth win in six Grands Prix, the Dutchman, three-time reigning world champion, is still a solid leader in the drivers’ world championship.
