Mary J. Blige is considering retiring from music

Mary J. Blige is seriously considering retiring from music. For now, the RnB icon still leaves himself a few years to finish his current music projects. Which doesn’t mean she’ll be twiddling her thumbs next. On the contrary, the 53-year-old artist essentially intends to make room for cinema.

“I will definitely retire in five or six years and then continue acting. Today, I continue to do what I do, but not at the same pace as before, because I no longer have to do it,” she told EXTRA before embarking on her music projects.
