The long weekend in May will not be easy for the volunteers of the volleyball club Villefranchois, because it has been chosen, together with the UFOLEP branch committee in Aveyron, to organize the national youth final on 10 and 11 May 2024 at the Tricot gymnasium.
290 people were waiting
This event will gather 290 people from all over France, over 3 days with 18 cadet teams and 19 cadet teams including 2 Aveyron teams from the Villefranche club. This represents 160 matches over 2 days.
The teams will play in 4×4 with group stage, then classification stages to finish with the final.
This requires enormous logistics both for the organization of the matches that will take place in all the halls of the gymnasium, i.e. 7 courts, but also for managing accommodation and meals for all players and companions.
This organization is beneficial at the sporting level for the municipality but also for the territory because the teams coming from all over France will discover the department of Aveyron but will also consume in Villefranchois.
