Inauguration of hiking trails in the Crécy-en-Ponthieu forest

On Saturday 18 May 2024, the hiking trails and connections set up by the department in the Crécy-en-Ponthieu forest will be inaugurated. Many activities around nature sports are on the programme!

Place : lily-of-the-valley clearing, at the start of the “La loop des mares” route

Entertainment programme

09.00: departure for the trip overseen by the Department’s Tour Committee – “The Mares Loop” 4 miles (general public and family)

11.00: inauguration hiking trails, with a history of Picardy, drinks and Picardy products

Lunch possible on site (food truck)

Entertainment from 13.00 to 16.00:

• Treasure hunt “Forest athletes”: from 7 to 99 years, approx. 1 hour, on a course organized and run by the National Forestry Office – after prior registration by email to emmanuelle.spailier@onf.fr
• Entertainment by storyteller Jean-Marie FRANCOIS (history in Picard) at 13.30, 14.30 and 15.30.
• Driving tours, on horseback, with the Departmental Equestrian Tourism Committee (Les calèches du Ponthieu)
• Mountain bike tours with the Vélo club in the Bay of Somme
• Archery with the Robin des dunes association
• Tree climbing
• 2.00pm: Second Walk Supervised by the Departmental Walk Committee – “The Mares Loop” 6.3km (General and Family)
