As part of family leisure activities, MJC offered a family boxing initiation at the Saint-Exupéry room led by Romain Blanes of the MJC French Martial Arts club. Curious to discover a new sport, learn to defend themselves and eager to share an enriching moment, a few boys and girls, accompanied by their mothers or fathers, participated in a collective warm-up, in movement work to improve coordination, muscle -/conditioning to prepare for the intensity of the exercises to come before putting on the gloves and discovering different French boxing attacks, defenses and evasions, with in the end only positive feedback (discovery, sharing, laughter, enjoyment, benefits).
Next course with Romain: physical culture and muscle awakening on Saturday 1 June from 11 a.m., Luc’s gym and Friday 14 June at 19.00 at Luc’s entertainment area. €5/person or €8/family.
