Press: UBS prepares to dissolve Credit Suisse’s management

Zurich (awp) – According to the Financial Times, the new banking giant UBS is preparing to dismiss the management of Credit Suisse, which was taken over just over a year ago. The measure would also concern the last boss of the establishment with two sails, Ulrich Körner, who remained in office after the operation.

The three-headed behemoth plans to complete the merger of legal entities UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG by the end of May, Salmon daily said on its website on Monday, citing informed but anonymous sources.

Ulrich Körner took over from Thomas Gottstein as head of Credit Suisse in August 2022, after leading the asset management business for a year. He previously led the same activities at UBS between 2014 and 2020.
