Salman Rushdie wins the Constantinople Prize for his latest work the knife Published by Éditions Gallimard last April. Born in 1947 in Bombay, Salman Rushdie is a naturalized British-American writer who has lived in New York since 2000. His works include about twenty works: novels, essays, and short story collections, including Midnight’s Children (Stock, 1983 / Folio, 2010), won the Booker Prize in 1981 and Shame (Blon, 1985 / Folio, 2011), Best Foreign Book Award 1985.
