An unprecedented event. The famous American star Madonna concluded her tour on Saturday, May 4, with a final free concert on the legendary Copacabana Beach in Brazil in front of 1.5 to 2 million spectators.
About 1.5 million people were expected to attend the biggest concert of the star’s career. The audience sat on the sand, but also in the sea on board dozens of boats to enjoy a stunning view, according to bfmtv.com.
Just before 11 p.m., the “Queen of Pop,” dressed all in black, appeared on stage, making the audience flip over with joy by performing “Nothing Really Matters,” an anthem to resilience.
“Here we are, Rio, the most beautiful place in the world!”, declared the singer, who stunned the Brazilian audience with happiness for more than two hours.
