The French pair led by Alexis Lebrun and Jianan Yuan qualified for the semi-finals of the Saudi Smash in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), on Tuesday 7 May, thanks to their clear victory against Romanians Ovidiu Ionescu and Bernadette Szocs (11-9, 11) – 8, 11-4). They will challenge the winner of the match between doubles Wong – Doo and Kallberg – Karlsson.

The adventure continues for Alexis Lebrun and Jianan Yuan in Jeddah. The French pair qualified for the mixed doubles semifinals of the Saudi Smash table tennis in Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday, May 7, after dismissing Ovidiu Ionescu and Bernadette Szocs in three sets (11-9, 11-8, 11 -4) .

One hell of a show

A great achievement since the Romanian pair are ranked eighth in the world (the French are 20th).is). After dominating Great Britain’s Liam Pitchford and Anna Hursey for their entry into the competition (11-4, 11-9, 11-5), they beat Taiwanese Szu-Yu Chen and Yun-Ju Lin, ranked fifth in the world (11 – 8 , 12-10, 14-16, 11-3).
