It’s the big day for Florent Manaudou and the first French torchbearers, including Soprano, Tony Parker and Jean-Pierre Papin. Twelve days after boarding Belemthe most famous French three-masted ship, at the port of Piraeus in Athens, the Olympic flame will disembark in Marseille on Wednesday evening, before beginning its journey through several French departments – but not all.
