The Spanish tourism group has joined forces in the new airline Air Oasis, which will operate domestic flights as well as to countries on the European continent, according to Maghreb Intelligence.
Air Oasis, based in the city of Dakhla, was born from the association of Globalia with the Moroccan group Al Mada, present in tourism through the companies Ametys and Atlas Hospitality, former subsidiary of Royal Air Maroc
At the origin of the launch of a new airline in Morocco is Globalia, a group controlled by the Hidalgo family and owner of Air Europa until its takeover by Iberia, the hotel group Be Live Hotels and the company of Grounforce Handling.
The Hidalgo family is one of the greatest family sagas in Spanish tourism.
