Sound emoticons will liven up your calls

Google recently added a touch of originality to phone conversations by introducing “audio” emoticons into its Phone app, thereby piqued the interest of Internet users. This amazing innovation enriches phone exchanges for Pixel smartphone users who recently noticed the introduction of audio emojis in the Google Phone app. This feature is similar to the principle of emoticons used in SMS to react to a person’s comments.

According to 9to5Google, these “audio” emojis fall into six categories: clapping, laughing, party, crying, poop and drum. Google explains that this feature allows you to express your emotions and mood through emojis that you can select during a conversation. This new feature demonstrates Google’s commitment to improving the user experience during their phone calls by bringing a fun and expressive aspect to voice exchanges.

When a user taps one of these emojis during a phone call, the app displays a funny animation accompanied by a sound effect. This feature is currently in beta development and is only available to a few Google Pixel owners.

While some greeted this new development with enthusiasm, others were more skeptical. A Reddit user expressed his opinion by saying, “Anyone asked for this? No. Will I still use it? Yes,” according to the Sky News website.

Since this feature is still under development, there is no guarantee that Google will roll it out across the entire Android ecosystem in the future. While this new feature has generated some interest among Pixel smartphone users, its future availability for other Android devices remains uncertain.

Google’s decision to roll out the feature across its entire product line will likely depend on user feedback and the success of the beta development phase.
