The Sarthe rider finished on the podium in the French U23 time trial championship.

The great hope of the Sarthoise track Erwan Besnier, licensed at Mayenne-V & B-Monbana (N1), surprised himself by going for third place in the French U23 time trial championship, while considering a place in the top 5 after its twelfth place last year. Hope 4, already a medal winner in 2024 on the American at the French elite track championship, is therefore offering himself a second medal this Wednesday 8 May 2024 in Altkirch (Alsace).

The hopefuls Mathys Rondel (Tudor Pro Cycling Team U23) and Louis Rouland (Arkéa-B & B Hôtels Continentale) came to work on their speed and their specific time trial technique, considering the big tours that await them in a few years. They finished 21st (1’24” behind winner Maxime Decomble) and 22nd (1’28”) respectively. Léa Rondel achieved a very good performance by finishing sixth in the junior race, 2’37” behind the winner Célia Gery and 1’04” from the podium.
