A FIFA committee on an inspection visit to Marrakech

A special commission attached to the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) arrived in Marrakech on Thursday to inspect a set of stadiums in the city of Marrakech, particularly the Grand Stade, as part of the kingdom’s preparations to host the final phase of the 2030 World Cup, co-hosted with Spain and Portugal.

According to Hesport, citing a well-informed source, the FIFA committee will inspect a number of stadiums in the ocher city, starting with the Grand Stade and its facilities, El Harti, Sidi Youssef Ben Ali Sports Complex and others.

According to the same source, this committee will visit in the next few hours and may even attend the confrontation between Kawkab Marrakech and Hassania Agadir, which will take place at the Grand Stade as part of the round of 16 of the Coupe du Throne.

The committee will also visit the other Moroccan cities designated to host the 2030 World Cup, namely Tangier, Fez, Rabat, Casablanca and Agadir, pending the final decision following the agreement with the Spanish and Portuguese parties on numerical and geographical distribution of the matches. in the world competition.
