The contemporary artist’s works are installed in the streets of Orléans from April 20th until June 29th.

Known for his ceramic and bronze sculptures, Johann Kreten continued his itinerant style of working and settled in Orléans. Considered one of the precursors of ceramics in contemporary art, the artist also creates with other materials such as clay.

The “Playing with Fire” exhibition officially opened on Saturday, April 20, and will run until June 29 at the Orleans Museum of Fine Arts, as well as in the streets and parks of the city.

“Playing with Fire” contains 120 works, 11 of which are in public places. Clay statues scattered throughout the city allow us to enter the creative world of Cretin. And through his worksWorld famous artist It seeks to explain how nature, man and history are connected.
