An elected official from Nimes responds to singer Shaka Punk

On social media, rock band singer Shaka Punk described bullfighting as an abomination and Nîmes elected officials as “executors,” a few months before she performed in Nîmes’ arenas. The city’s first deputy responds in an open letter.

In a letter to the rock band’s singer, the elected official defends bullfighting, which has been practiced since 1853 in the squares of the capital, Gard.
