Very well placed during the Hyperpole session, Alex Malykhin’s Porsche 911 GT3 kept the promises seen during the first part of qualifying. In the Manthey PureRacing 911, the Briton took pole position in the GT3 category by almost eight tenths ahead of the Aston Martin of Ian James, in the Heart of Racing colours.

Two BMWs, as well as the Lamborghini of Iron Dames follow on the grid. Also a good performance from Rennais’ François Heriau, who set the seventh fastest time, ahead of teammate Thomas Flohr, in the Ferrari.
