Champions Cup – Semi-final referees: a French quartet for Leinster – Northampton, Andrew Brace for Toulouse

The referees for the semi-finals of the Investec Champions Cup have been revealed. Stade Toulouse will be managed by Andrew Brace, while Mathieu Raynal will be in charge for Leinster – Northampton accompanied by three other Frenchmen.

We know the referees for the last four in the Investec Champions Cup. After blowing out Exeter in the quarter-finals, Toulouse host Harlequins at the stadium on Sunday 5 May. A meeting that will be chaired by Irishman Andrew Brace, assisted by Chris Busby and Eoghan Cross. It was he who had already refereed during the group match in Rouge et Noir against Bath, a good memory for the French, since they won 31 to 19.

The other semi-final which will take place the day before between Leinster and Northampton will be refereed by Mathieu Raynal. The Frenchman will also be helped by three other tricolors. Pierre Brousset and Luc Ramos will man the sideline while Thomas Charabas will be on video.

ASM judged by Luke Pearce

Another French team in the semi-finals (in the EPCR Challenge-Cup this time), ASM will be judged by England’s Luke Pearce and his assistants Karl Dickson, Matthew Carley and Tom Foley. Christophe Urios’ men face the Durban Sharks on Saturday in the 4th leg in London.
