Miyoo beat out Anbernic and MagicX with the A30, a 2.8-inch handheld version. As noted Retro gaming caseThe Miyoo A30 can be ordered from Keep Retro and not from Miyoo. Additionally, the YouTube channel believes that the Miyoo A30 could be “a little cheaper” when it appears on the Miyoo website at some point.
It’s unclear when Miyoo will start shipping the A30, let alone how many units it will have in stock. Retro Game Corps notes that Keep Retro may be a better option for those looking to purchase memory in a specific color or configuration. As expected, Miyoo presents the A30 with a 127 x 58 x 15mm body and the following hardware:
- Allwinner A33 (4 core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU/ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU)
- 2.8-inch IPS screen, native resolution 640 x 480.
- 512 MB RAM
- 2500 mAh battery
At the time of writing, Keep Retro offers the A30 in red and gold, black, black and white and gray, with a choice of 64GB or 128GB MicroSD card. For reference, the retailer is selling the first model for $55.99. and the second for $65.99. Please note that Keep Retro estimates that the Miyoo A30 will begin shipping around June 15th. However, this date may be pushed back, likely depending on when Miyu delivers the devices to Keep Retro.
