Vichy and the surrounding area benefit from exceptional sports facilities that have recently been modernized and expanded, but also from know-how in arranging and organizing events. Every year, more than 400 national and international sporting events and courses take place in the region.
Branded Terre de Jeux 2024, the Vichy Community has also applied, with CREPS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in Vichy, to be a Games preparation center, therefore welcoming national teams for training until 2024. This is thanks to the expertise of the teams and its rare facilities , that Parc Omnisports and CREPS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes – Vichy, today constitute the largest French center marked “Preparation for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024”.
