At the invitation of the environmental group Uni-Vert de la Matanie, more than thirty people attended last night a free screening of the film “The Ocean Seen by the Heart” in the Antoine-Gagnon space at the Society of History and Genealogy of Matanie (SHGM). ).

In this 96-minute documentary directed by Yolande Cadrin-Rossignol and Marie-Dominique Michaud, we ask why we make so many animals suffer, destroy species through overexploitation, and pollute the environment so much, including with plastic?

And from a legal perspective, why haven’t we put restrictions on industrial, petroleum, all mining, mining, chemical, agro-industrial and nuclear activities to maintain an ecological balance that guarantees the survival of humanity?
