The Moroccan Federation of Sports Professionals (FMPS) has announced the names of the first winners of the brand new ‘Sports Society’ label, in recognition of their commitment and actions in the development and promotion of physical and sporting practices in the area. professional.

The ‘Sports Society’ label, initiated by the FMPS Corporate Sport Commission, has been awarded to Axa Assurance, Banquecentrale Telefoon, Capgemini, Foundever, Inetum, Intelcia, Majorel Africa, Pharma 5, Safran Electrical & Power, Sanofi Aventis, Sanlam, Royal Association for the Promotion of Horses, Sofac and Total Energies.

Companies applying for the label were assessed based on a number of criteria, namely the organization of sporting events for employees, the development or provision of sports infrastructure, awareness campaigns and participation in the financing of access rights to sport.

“This label aims to be a real turning point in the promotion of the practice of physical activity in the professional environment in Morocco. The aim is to pay tribute to managers who have decided to use sport for the well-being of their employees, allowing their companies to improve their performance. This initiative should show the way to many other leaders and ensure that sport integrates the culture of their companies,” explains Mehdi Sekkouri Alaoui, President of the FMPS.

Undeniable benefits
The winners were unanimous, the benefits of sport in the workplace are no longer in question and this label helps remind us of this and encourage companies to do more. “For us, this label is a first step with which we can encourage companies, but also challenge them to achieve more,” estimates Fatna Abdouh, director of human resources at Foundever.
