Egis strengthens its consultancy activity with the acquisition of a major player in the United Kingdom

On May 2, 2024, Egis took over the Thomas & Adamson company. Thomas & Adamson, based in Edinburgh and founded in 1935, has around a hundred employees in Great Britain. The group thus strengthens its consultancy activity, which already has a strong presence in France. The new group brings together more than 500 employees with key locations in the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

The board

In addition to the professions of Architecture, Engineering and Operations-Maintenance, the profession of Consulting is essential for the positioning of Egis, which wants to remain present in the entire value chain of infrastructure projects. This acquisition will provide the consulting business within Egis with immediate access to new geographies and the resources to respond to client requests from its numerous locations around the world. The acquisition of Thomas & Adamson therefore meets the group’s strategic orientations: growth, internationalization and positioning from upstream to downstream.

Thomas & Adamson

Thomas & Adamson’s teams, based across Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and the Middle East, have a proven track record of supporting leading organizations through the complexities of acquiring, supplying and operating assets in the built environment. They provide consultancy services across a range of sectors including commercial, education, hospitality, residential, healthcare, hospitality, retail, life sciences, sport, leisure and culture.
