2024 Update for Garmin Connect

Garmin is announcing a major update to its Garmin Connect website and app. This update offers improved ergonomics and a personalized and simplified home page display. Starting today, select users with Garmin smartwatches, cycling computers and accessories will be able to try a beta version of Garmin Connect before its official release later this year. Tailored to your goals The new Garmin Connect home page, with customizable sections designed for those tracking their overall wellness, staying active, or preparing for a sporting event, offers an innovative way to access and view their data.

Activity of the day – Ability to display activities held during the day, upcoming training sessions and events planned for the next two days.

Focus – Detailed summary of selected health and fitness metrics, including sleep quality assessment, energy level tracking. Body battery, training status and much more*. The weekly activity trend view is customizable and shows your favorite activities.

Preview – Full access to a wide range of statistics: heart rate, minutes of intense exercise, steps, calories burned, stress, floors climbed, hydration, physical age, HRV status, VO2 Max, training load, heat and weather acclimation altitude, endurance rating and much more* . This information can be viewed in one place.

Events – Preparing for your next race or competition is made easier by specific data, including a countdown timer and weather forecast for the day of the event.

Training programs – Follow personalized Garmin Coach running or cycling programs, and view your training plan progress, details of planned workouts completed within one week.

Problems – View progress in the Expedition, Sign, Party, and Family challenges.

Availability – The Garmin Connect beta update is gradually becoming available to users, with the final version expected to be available later this year.
