The day after arriving in Arles, the Olympic flame will continue its journey to the south-east of France this Monday 13 May for the fifth leg of the great relay that will lead to Paris, for the opening ceremony scheduled for 26 July. The day starts at 08:00. Millau Viaduct. This cable-stayed bridge, one of the longest in the country, has been crucial in developing commercial and industrial activities in the Aveyron region and will launch the route, which will take the torchbearers to the town of Millau at 8.40am. A stage that allows the flame to pass through the Grandes Causses Regional Natural Park, ending at the Place du Mandarous at 9.30am.

The festivities start again at Juvignac (15:30-16:5), where The convoy will leave Sanofi headquarters before taking Rue du Pilory and Route de Lodève to end its journey on Rue de la Voie Lactée.

The day ends with the flame coming at Montpellier. It will leave the green surroundings of the Promenade du Peyrou at 16:50, pass in front of the Arc de Triomphe before reaching the famous Place de la Comédie at 17:10. The nerve center of the city, the latter will let the emblem of Olympism go at 17:25, heading towards the Place de l’Europe via the Jardin des Plantes, the Saint-Roch station, the town hall and the Antigone district. It is in this square, located between the center and the banks of Lez, that the Olympic cauldron will be lit at 19:20 and the end of the day will take place.
