Android tablets are gaining popularity over iPads

It’s time for Apple to release new iPad models. It’s not that current tablets are terrible; on the contrary, they are still very good products. But the range needs to be increased to revive the car, which is losing ground against its competitors.

After growing sharply during the pandemic, iPad sales began to fall again in early 2023 (this was after the launch of the iPad 10). For now, it’s still grimace soup for the iPad. IDC published shipment data for January, February and March: Apple still leads with an estimate of 9.9 million tablets, but volume is down 8.5%.. In second place is Samsung with 6.7 million units, again down 5.8% from the first quarter of 2023. The lack of major new products from the Korean manufacturer had a negative impact on sales.

Huawei is poised for a strong comeback in China, with the success of its smartphones benefiting its tablets, which rose 43.6% to 2.9 million units.
