Roland-Garros 2024: draw Thursday 23 May, final Sunday 9 June… All tournament dates

Porte d’Auteuil will continue to swarm. After a particularly intense clay court season, which crowned Stefanos Tsitsipas (Monte-Carlo), Casper Ruud (Barcelona), Andrey Rublev (Madrid) for men, Elena Rybakina (Stuttgart), Iga Swiatek (Madrid) for women, Roland-Garros Stadium opens its doors for the second Grand Slam of the season, after the Australian Open. In January, Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka won at Melbourne Park.

The tournament starts on Monday 20 May with the qualifiers, the day after the draw, scheduled for Sunday 19 May. Around forty Tricolores are affected by these tables. Each player must win three matches, scheduled for Friday 24 May, to earn their place in the final draw.

The main dates:

  • Monday 20 May: start of qualifying
  • Thursday 23 May: main draw draw
  • Sunday 26 May: start of singles tournaments, men and women
  • Saturday 8 June: women’s final
  • Sunday 9 June: men’s final

The draw for the main tables will be made before the end of these qualifications. From Thursday 23 May, Rafael Nadal, Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz and Elena Rybakina will know their way to the long-awaited final. The 32 best in the world will, as usual, be protected in the first rounds, and will only meet each other from the third round.

The tournament begins on Sunday 26 May and ends on Sunday 9 June. The first round matches are spread over the first three days, until Tuesday 28 May. Then it’s time for the second round on Wednesday and Thursday, the third round on Friday and Saturday, the round of 16 on Sunday and Monday, and the quarterfinals on Tuesday and Wednesday. The women’s semi-finals continue on Thursday, before the men’s semi-finals on Friday. On the last weekend there is a place in the finals, the ladies on Saturday, and the men on Sunday, without forgetting the doubles and mixed doubles.
