No NBA title for the Suns
Frank Vogel (50) won the NBA title at the head of the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 before being fired two years later. He arrived in Arizona in June 2023.
The Suns disappointed during the regular season and in the playoffs, defeated 4-0 by Minnesota’s French pivot Rudy Gobert, on Wednesday named “the best defender of the year” for the 4th time in his NBA career.
Phoenix suffered from consecutive injuries to its offensive trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
