The private sector is eagerly awaiting the national hydrogen strategy

It was a late Switzerland that was discussed on Thursday during a summit on hydrogen in Yverdon, the first national conference on this energy vector. Nevertheless, it is expected that molecules consisting of two hydrogen atoms (H2) will play an important role – even though there remains debate about this – in the energy transition.

In Yverdon, all eyes were on the Confederation, which, unlike all its neighbors, does not yet have a national strategy in this area. It should arrive in the second half of this year. The Federal Council was actually called to investigate the issue following parliamentary motions two years ago.
