Italy shows a coefficient of 19.428 points after the qualification of AS Roma and Atalanta to the semi-finals of C3 and that of Fiorentina who reached the last four of C4.

It is ahead of Germany (17,928 points, three clubs still involved), while England is third (17,375 points), but after the eliminations of West Ham and Liverpool, English football is only represented by a single club, Aston Villa, who knocked out Lille in C4. The Champions League will change format next season, with 36 teams taking part in the group stage, compared to 32 up until this season.
