The Olympic flame arrives in Marseille on May 8. Several neighborhoods crossed by the Olympic flame are affected by traffic bans on Thursday 9 May 2024.
But from 5 May certain sectors will also be targeted parking ban. Here are the details.
From 5 May, here are the parking restrictions
The area Arenc-Pharo : from 5 May at 22:00 until 9 May at 20:00 it will be prohibited to park on Quai du Lazaret, Quai de la Joliette or on parts of the Boulevard des Dames. Traffic, on the other hand, will be prohibited on 9 May between 10.30 and 1.45 pm.
The area Perier-Mazargues : from 5 May at 22:00 to 9 May at 20:00 it will be prohibited to park on Boulevard Michelet, on part of Boulevard Rabatau or even on Rue Raymond Teisseire. Traffic, on the other hand, will be prohibited on 9 May between 4.30pm and 8pm.
The area Notre Dame de la Garde-Estrangin : from 5 May at 22:00 until 9 May at 14:30, parking will be prohibited on boulevard de Vauban, boulevard Paul Doumer or rue Edouard Delanglade. Traffic, on the other hand, will be prohibited on 9 May between 07.15 and 09.30.
The area Hotel du Département-Longchamp : from 5 May at 22:00 to 9 May at 20:00, parking will be prohibited on Boulevard de la Blancarde, Boulevard du Maréchal Juin or on Avenue de Saint-Just. Traffic will, in turn, be prohibited on 9 May between 2.30pm and 5pm.
The area Borély-Pharo : from 5 May at 22.00 until 9 May at 20:00, parking will be prohibited on the Corniche, part of avenue du Prado that goes up towards the Prado roundabout or even on avenue Pierre Mendès- France, up to the level of the racecourse.
Traffic, on the other hand, will be prohibited on 9 May between 8.15 and 11.30.
