(Ecofin Agency) – The group specialized in renewable energy in Morocco, Masen, launched on April 25 the prequalification for the selection of a private partner who will be responsible for the financing, construction and operation of the 400 MW Nassim North Wind Power Program.
This new program includes two wind farms, namely the Nassim Koudia Al Baida Extension wind farm with a capacity of approximately 150 MW and the Nassim Dar Chaoui wind farm with a capacity of approximately 250 MW.
Masen underlines that by structuring its financing, the program will promote greater private sector involvement in the deployment of renewable energy sources, with the participation of Moroccan and international commercial banks.
