American actress Natalie Portman recently acquired a private mansion with an area of more than 500 square meters overlooking the Champ-de-Mars in the heart of Paris.
Natalie Portman recently broke up with French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, and she’s just found a new comfortable nest.
The American actress revealed that she was treated to a luxurious mansion in Paris Challenges. Its property extends over 550 square meters and has a garden and a reception room with a glass roof on the fourth floor as well as a clear view of the Champ-de-Mars.
A jewel worth 15.2 million euros
To get this gem, the actress had to pay a whopping €15.2 million net to the seller.
Glass roof lounge
Built in 1912, the palace served as an embassy in the 1980s, before businessman Yves Vatelot bought it in 1990. The latter completely renovated it, according to our colleagues from the economic magazine. A wrought-iron staircase and elevator serve the three floors as well as a glass-roofed reception room that was added to the roof in the 2000s.
Prestigious neighbors
Natalie Portman, a mother of two, lived nearby in a rented apartment before her split from Benjamin Millepied.
The actress will have prestigious neighbors. King Mohammed VI of Morocco, WhatsApp co-founder Jean Koum, and Olivier Mitterrand, nephew of the former President of the Republic.
