The iPhone 16 continues to make headlines, especially for its design. The image posted by leaker Sonny Dixon really highlights the back of the upcoming Apple phones. Opportunity to confirm two noteworthy events for this generation: shape factor and photomodule.
Thus, we find that the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are more impressive than the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. No wonder rumors are leaning toward 6.9-inch and 6.3-inch screens for the new Pro versions.
As a result, the iPhone 16 will look like Dalton, with four different panel sizes:
- 6.1 inches for iPhone 16;
- 6.3 inches for iPhone 16 Pro;
- 6.7 inches for iPhone 16 Plus;
- 6.9 inches for iPhone 16 Pro Max.
According to previous leaks, the 6.3-inch iPhone 16 Pro will bring a new exclusive feature to the iPhone 15 Pro Max: 5x optical zoom.
The second change highlighted in this image is the new photo module on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. Photomodules are now located not diagonally, but vertically.
This new layout is rumored to have been chosen by Apple to allow users to shoot spatial video for the Vision Pro.
Note that two other design elements not revealed in this image have already been talked about in recent months:
- There’s a new Capture button for shooting, zooming, or focusing;
- Adding an Action Button from iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro to iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.
