Saint Girons. ORRIS Culture Music End of Semester Special

On the last Thursday at 7:00 p.m., the Mélanie Lesage Trio and the Sans Nom Chorale will perform in the last ORRIS cultural musical of the semester at the Ateliers de la Liberté. With ACARM09 in the association table.

One Thursday a month, Saint-Girons lives in the rhythm of ORRIS cultural musicals: invitations, free and open to everyone, to discover new musical projects and associations with strong social and community values. Evenings as part of the ADECC Spectator Master Classes, held here with the support of the departmental SMAC Art’Cade and the ORRIS association. This Thursday, May 2, from 7:00 pm, is the time for an evening to celebrate the end of the semester before it resumes in September, where the trio Mélanie Lesage, Chorale Sans Nom and ACARM09 will gather. Trio Melanie Lesage and her pop-folk will take you on a sailboat along the French coast and invite you into the privacy of their cabin. Warmed by Melanie’s sunny timbre, the songs of this young trio, formed in January 2022, are soft and light, accompanied by the notes of Rhodes, Lapsteel and Double Bass. A poetic universe that will momentarily immerse you in a pop-folk cocoon, where you’ll probably meet Pomme, Olivia Ruiz or Ben Harper. La Chorale Sans Nom, for its part, will then offer a polyphonic set from here and elsewhere. The traditional association table will be occupied by ACARM09 (Cuserannas Association for the Reception of Refugees and Migrants). This association has been working in Kuzeran since 2016 with migrants in difficult situations through educational support, legal and administrative assistance, housing and integration assistance and many others.
