Professor Michel Equalanga: “Deaths from monkeypox are an unnecessary death that the country can avoid”

Monkeypox, or monkeypox, continues to claim victims in the DRC.

Guest of Radio Okapi this Thursday, March 28, professor and researcher Michel Equalanga from the University of Lubumbashi argues that the number of deaths the country is recording as a result of the disease are “too many deaths” that can be avoided.

Indeed, this researcher claims to have found a treatment protocol for monkeypox, but he needs government funding.

He believes the government should fund research so scientists can find solutions to society’s problems.

Professor Michel Equalanga talks to Jean Ngandu.
